Key Responsibilities

• Articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.
• An Application Engineer, expected to work closely with current and potential customers in order to understand their engineering processes and propose solutions & methodologies that would help them meet their objectives and create positive business outcomes.
• Closely interacting with customers in order to improve the understanding of technical challenges and find solutions.
• Contribute to sales presentations, as well as demonstrating prototypes and completed applications.
• Identify and provide solution for all related technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the quote process.
• Synergize with principal product team to explore & develop industry best practices approaches & metrics.
• Optimize applications by integrating new technologies like PLM, ERP, ECAD and performing upgrades.
• Generate ideas for software innovation based on market trends.
• Develop whitepapers, blogs, and presentations showcasing your demonstration models, Publish on our company blog site, present directly to customers in-person or via web conferences, and at international conferences and workshops.

Required Skills

• 2-3 Yrs Experience in Mentor Graphics/Capital software (logic and Harness XC).
• Must have experience in Electrical wiring design & development lifecycle.
• Experience in Electrical system architecture design, wiring design, functional schematics harness design & form board design is required.
• Preparation of manufacturing BOM.
• Electrical Wiring and harness drafting standards.
• Electrical Load and Power Source Capacity Analysis (AC analysis, DC Analysis & Battery Analysis).
• Handling 3-D harness design & Electrical stimulation.
• Experience in Integration and testing of wiring/harness is an added advantage.
• Understanding of configuration management, requirements traceability and related processes.
• Knowledge and capability upon integrations of tools like PLM & ERP.
• Closely interacting with customers in order to improve the understanding of technical challenges and find solutions to problems impeding execution of customer's projects.
